On Saturday, October 20th at 10 AM I started on something known as the 24 Hour Comic Challenge, hosted by the
International Cartoonist Conspiracy. Basically it is an endurance test. A marathon for comic creators professional and amature. You intend to create a 24 page comic in 24 hours. At 8:30 AM on Sunday, October 21st I finished with The Origin of Man the Ladybug. Despite my drawing hand cramping up at around 4 AM on Sunday and hitting a wall where I just didn't want to finish around 5 AM, I did finish with twenty-three pages and a cover (hey it counts!). Although I am not satisfied with the whole project, I am pleased with certain pages and most of all that I finished the 24 Hour Comic within the time limit.

Minneapolis 24 Hour Comic DayAs for this particular story. It features a character from bewilderedkid.com. You may remember Man the Ladybug as a character that made it's debut in
"The New Blood". Well, below is his story of origin. I hope you enjoy it more than I had creating it.
