I created this mini-comic this weekend while "co-teaching" the Macy's Go Read Zine (and mini-comic) making class at the Guthrie. I edited it a bit to make it read better on the web.

The inaugural edition of Super Fantastica Comix is available at The Source and Hot Comics in the Twin Cities. It will be in more comic shops soon. I am now taking submissions for the second volume, more info can be found at The Super Fantastica Comix site.
The Pornbot vs. The Sexy Spammer fight comes to a head. With the amount of action, or inaction depending on your point-of-view, I wanted to put into this story, one page just wasn't going to cut it. Instead, this week you are treated to a four page fight between these combatants!
Directly below that, please enjoy some Bunny Funnies!

"Hey dude, check it out! You ain't gonna believe this!"
"I'm just hittin you up, as a friend, to fill you in on this exclusive deal to get a FREE $500 Macy's Gift Card. Yes, FREE! Just answer a question or two and BOOM -- you got a shopping spree, lol!"
Just kidding. But damn, six strips/pages this week? You've been BUSIER than a MySpace spambot.
Hey Daniel- when are we gonna play some halo 2. What was your dumb name again?
Waitasec...Mallard Fillmore? I hate that strip.
I'm more familiar with the "Mallard Fillmore" in DC's Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew.
I miss Captain Carrot.
Bruce Tinsley is a great American. Even ask Sean Hannity.
Here are my thoughts:
1) Pornbot was not made to fight! Pornbot was made... to love!
2) 6 pages, 4 of which full color. Why do you do this to yourself?
3)I think I have read exactly three Mallard Filmore strips. One is the infamous "Oops, I forgot to tell a joke" parody strip, and the other two took pot shots at an investment company I used to work for, which was pinned to many cubicles of said investment company.
bud - Sorry for destroying Pornbot. The MySpace spam bot won the vote. Democracy in action!
mccarthy - At first I thought I was really being spammed and that somebody had hacked your account. Funny stuff. Yeah, I've been busy lately. Who needs sleep, right?
bud - Halo 2 over at Zander's was a fun time. My screen name was Pete, but you kept calling me Sneaky Pete.
crushthemall - Good to see you posting again! Yeah. We (myself and the bunny) aren't big fans of Mallard Fillmore either. Captain Carrot? Haven't heard that name in a while.
anonymous - Bruce Tinsley and Sean Hannity could both very well be great Americans. However, that doesn't mean I cannot dislike and disagree with them.
ryan - I will respond to your thoughts:
1) Yeah! Pornbot WAS made to love...well...maybe not "love," but definitely not to fight. Although it looked like she held her own.
2) The bunny funnies are REALLY quick to do. I generally draw three strips on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. It generally takes me about an hour to finish one piece of paper. The ladybug story took me about an hour to do, while I was "teaching" at the Go Read event. The only thing that took me a while to do was the Pornbot story. It took me a total of twelve hours to complete. I came up with the story, penciled, and inked the pages on Tuesday night. On Wednesday night, I scanned, inserted text, and colored the images. Of course, I ended up coming down with the flu on Thursday, so maybe that says something for working so hard.
3) So, you are a fan of Mallard Fillmore then? Everything I've ever read is taking shots at liberal politicians. Now, to be fair, I could understand that exposing Hillary and Obama's flaws and making jest of them could be funny, but the problem is...the damn comic ISN'T FUNNY! My least favorite comic strips of all time are (in no particular order):
* Mallard Fillmore
* Fred Basset
* Garfield (although the Garfield without Garfield site is pretty damn funny).
crushthemall: You miss him because you didn't read Final Ark, or because of what happened at the end of Final Ark?
Even though I'm from Minnesota, I've been living in the South for too long, so I can't tell whether certain things are regional things or not. But it seems like there's a pretty large and thriving indie comic/ziney community in the Cities. I mean, Macy's at the Guthrie? Classes? Sweet! If only there were things like that in my neck of the woods! (maybe there are I just don't know it!) Go you!
b: I didn't read the final arc of Captain Carrot, but recently found out that he was resurrected in a DC crossover.
jenny: There is a HUGE indie comic community up here! If there isn't a community like that down in ATL, you should get one started!
