New bewilderedkid comic! New bunny funnies! Far Arden Complete! Interview at Cream City Comics!

Good morning/afternoon/evening!

If you haven't read Far Arden, then you are an awful person and should rot in hell. Okay, maybe I'm being an asshole, but my friend Kevin Cannon just finished his beautifully illustrated and brilliantly crafted online comic Far Arden. You can read it, in its entirety at Kevin Cannon dot org. It's amazing. Really.

Also, if you can't get enough of Kevin's work, he will be the featured artist in the Lutefisk Sushi comic art show coming up in May. It will be taking place during Art-a-Whirl in northeast Minneapolis at Altered Esthetics. More info at Lutefish Sushi Volume C.

I will be contributing a twelve page comic entitled The Fourth Void. It is a story containing bewilderedkid comix characters Dunk, Bunny, and Burt Burton. It's looking good so far and once we get closer to the event, I will post a page or two! However, if you want the whole story, you will need to purchase the Lutefisk Sushi C box set, which will be available at the event!

Lastly, my friend Amado Rodriguez, co-publisher of the Muscles and Fights anthologies and creator of the graphic novel Heavee Underground, interviewed me for his Cream City Comics Blog. You can view the interview here.

Anyhow, on with this week's bewilderedkid comic and bunny funnies!

Wow,' Far Arden' is seriously amazing. I want it in print. Hey, thanks for the mention in the interview, by the way. I'll now have to face the fact that I've got a style going. Last week someone even recognized my artwork in a bar. (There was a poster hanging in the lady's room.)

I think the fish might be my favorite of your characters.

I was going to draw him for you, but I don't think you've ever shown a complete shot of him.

Does he have a tail or legs or what?

rembrand: Isn't Far Arden great? You can pre-order the book by going to http://www.bigtimeattic.com/blog. Not a problem for the mention in the interview! I like what I see, so I wanted to give you props! You definitely have a style going. Congrats on getting your work noticed! I don't have any artwork hanging anywhere currently, so nobody will approach me on that front.

mccarthy: You like Fish, huh? I think I might have shown him in pants and shoes before, but that doesn't mean he needs to have legs and feet! He could be in some sort of automated walker, or something. I guess draw him however you like! I'll adapt however you draw it into a storyline!

You're right. I scrolled back to the strips from before I started reading, and in a very early installment we see Fish wearing comfortable slacks and sensible shoes.
